One of Hollywood’s funniest men, Benjamin Edward "Ben" Stiller is an American actor who jump started his illustrious career in the film Reality Bites. Born November 30, 1965 under the Sagittarius sign, Ben’s one of a kind comedic pedigree is rooted from his veteran comedian parents Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara.
Ben was raised in New York City in an Irish Catholic community. His parents encouraged him to pursue an acting career by bringing him to the set of their movies, including a cameo in The Mike Douglas Show when he was six years old. Ben’s natural Sagittarius characteristics such as being highly intelligent, creative, talented, and full of energy allowed him to interact effortlessly with other people. His natural acting and comedy skills caught the eye of many film producers even at a young age.
Throughout his career, Stiller was linked to numerous actresses including Jeanne Tripplehorn, whom he shared a long term relationship with. Although Sagittarius is known for being overly sensitive when it comes to their romantic relationship, Ben’s unique sense of humor endeared Jeanne to him. After several years of being together, the couple split up citing irreconcilable differences. Stiller found new love with Calista Flockhart, a budding TV star at that time. Both shared strong passion for acting, which made them grow closer. Ben’s positive outlook in his life and career were instrumental in Flockhart’s developing career. He helped her deal with many aspects of Hollywood stardom.
On May 2000, Stiller married Christine Taylor, whom he met while filming the TV series Heat Vision and Jack. In an interview after they publicly announced their relationship, Taylor revealed that he was attracted to Stiller’s kindness, open mindness, and social skills – all of which are natural traits of Sagittarius. They collaborated in several comedy flicks including Zoolander, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, and Tropic Thunder. The couple is currently residing in Hollywood Hills with their two children Ella Olivia and Quinlin Dempsey.
